Today is a day of new beginnings for both me and my family although she says she is not so involved in this; new beginnings and new opportunities for expansion. Today Joy arrives, we will offer her a foster home while she recovers in order to find a family for her whole life.

Personally, it is an exciting and challenging process. One of the purposes we have with Joy is to help him trust more since he is very distrustful and afraid to go out on the street. We have some tasks to do with him and things get interesting 😂 because not only will he turn on, but I will also do it, we will be sharing the process with you!

Aquí les cuento más a detalle la condición que tiene Joy en este momento; Babesia canis es un parásito microscópico que porta una especie concreta de garrapata. Cuando una garrapata infectada por este parásito microscópico se alimenta de la sangre de un perro, le puede transmitir una enfermedad llamada babesiosis.

Por esto el viene con prescripción médica, la cual seguiremos durante el tiempo que esté aquí.
Son tres medicamentos que requiere para el tratamiento. Uno de ellos le ayuda a elevar sus glóbulos rojos que han disminuido debido a la anemia causada por el parásito.

En lo personal es un proceso emocionante y retador. Es algo que he querido hacer desde hace años, ayudar a perros que se encuentra en la calle a estar estables en un hogar por los años que les queden de vida y recibir, experimentar el amor de una familia, sentimiento que tal vez nunca han recibido por la indiferencia nuestra.

El es el primer Ser que recibiremos como hogar de paso, es quien abre este proyecto de vida que realmente me motiva y me impulsa a seguir. Se los cuento con mucha ilusión ya en a futuro tendremos un refugio propio donde no solamente recibiremos perros y gatos sino también animales de otras especies como vacas, cerdos, ovejas, caballos, entrego otros. Todo esto si el universo conspira para que así sea.

Uno de los propósitos que tenemos con Joy es ayudarlo a confiar más dado que es muy desconfiado y le da miedo salir a la calle. Tenemos algunas tareas por hacer con él y la cosa se pone interesante 😂 porque no únicamente va a prender él sino también lo haré yo, te estaremos compartiendo el proceso!
