I have been listening to and singing this song for a long time, called Flor sin sprout.
Today I had the opportunity to sing it again, this time for this prestigious platform
Flower without a shoot was made popular by the late Pedro Infante.
Pedro gave life to this wonderful and masterly composition, by him, also a Mexican, Rubén Fuentes.
It was released in the 50's and has been performed worldwide by many famous artists such as Charlie Zaa who I listened to many times.
The song itself is like a metaphor. The flower that is mentioned is actually a woman who, seeing that she was neglected for only three days, is perhaps looking for another love.

The friends tell the man who intended to continue watering a dead love to leave her alone, in peace because that love was already dead, or supposed love of that flower, that is, the woman he loved so much.
And although it could be a fable, or a real event that inspired the song, that happens, I would say, on a daily basis.
On the one hand someone who wants to give his love and another who is not willing to give everything
Love must be cultivated, it must be watered every day with details, affection, attention and never be neglected.
Although there are people who say that there is true love, neither time nor distance will make it die if it is true love.
Here my little reflection of this beautiful song and then I left the lyrics taken from

.
I planted a flower without interest
I planted it to see if it was formal
Three days after I stop watering it
When he returned it was already dry and he no longer wanted to sprout
When he returned it was already dry and he no longer wanted to sprout
I watered it with water that falls from the sky
And I watered it with tears from my eyes
My friends told me don't water that flower anymore
That flower no longer sprouts, the heart is dead
That flower no longer sprouts, the heart is dead
I watered it with water that falls from the sky
And I watered it with tears from my eyes
My friends told me don't water that flower anymore
That flower no longer sprouts, the heart is dead
That flower no longer sprouts, the heart is dead
I leave the versions that I know best and I like. Pedro Infante's and Charlie Zaa's.
