In life, it's difficult to show young people; teenagers the shortcut of having us as examplary footsteps for them to follow. This is because they want to create their own identity, their footprint, they want to allow their experiences to sharpen their personality. They're like a vessel taking in without weighing which is good or bad and because of this they're open to suggestiveness, they're open to any form of adventure without understanding the repercussions.
This is simply because they're young and vibrant and they have the energy and the youthful vigor to go through as many experiences as they want, learning the lessons as they go by and of course using the lessons learnt to understand and choose who they want to be.
In this video I talk about how sometimes we fail to make young people choose things we want for them and how we can get them to take the shortcut and use us as a roadmap to becoming who they need to be.
