I've started the Iceborne expansion of Monster Hunter Wolrd and it's been a pretty interesting start. A Legiana has been sighted in the Ancient Forest, this is not its habitat, but what are they doing here? It's time to continue the spirit of adventure and find out what's going on.

Before you continue, to start playing the expansion, you must have the rank of hunter 16 and have completed the main story. Of course, you must have acquired the DLC. We need to talk to the fleet commander and do some research on the Legiana, so let's go to the woods. When we start the mission, we'll see some footprints of this monster and follow its trail until we realize that a mega-migration is taking place. Where are they going? Is something repelling them? Is it a normal migration?

In view of this, we will go with the captain of fleet number 3 and fly in the wake of the Legianas and after an exciting video sequence, we have arrived at a giant glacier, this is iceborne, the new land.

As usual, I will go with my companion to investigate the new area to see if it is safe to land and establish a new research base. We will begin the adventure, investigating new ingredients and a totally frozen world, but I don't trust myself because I know that danger awaits and it was so, a Beotodus has attacked me and it will be our first hunt in this new world.

I was equipped with a good level of defense and attack, you can check my whole equipment in the next picture:

Because it is a place of ice, I left equipped with an bow that causes Blastblight, an explosion of fire from time to time and of course, depends on the resistance of the enemies to this state. Ideal would be to go with fire element, but I don't have a weapon that infringes this elemental damage.

The battle against the Beotodus was interesting, even though it was a copy of Lavasioth and the Jyuratodus, it was quite a fresh battle, with the advantage that I had an idea of which parts of the monster could break and where to inflict more damage. In the end, as expected, I won and discovered a new monster. Enjoy the battle in the video. I have arrived at a new area and I am really excited to discover what awaits me and what enemies I must defeat. We built a new research base and a new world awaits.
