A big hug to my dear friends of Sound Music, neighboring community of Hive Open Mic, in which I have been for some time. I present myself today in a timely manner to please you with a special theme, well known in Latin America.
But before I talk to you about the theme, I would like to mention that I am very happy to share this interpretation with you, I hope it will be to everyone's liking.
I have been an instrumentalist musician for some years now, it is part of my life, I have never sung, I don't think I am good at it, but something that has caught my attention, is the description of Sound Music, when it says that "It is a community, in which musical material is shared".
Why are you making me cry?
Juan Gabriel wrote the song for Lucía Méndez, who had just come out of a disappointing love affair with actor Valentín Trujillo. When Méndez wanted to marry him, Trujillo refused because he wanted to concentrate on his acting career and feared losing fans if they found out he was married. Méndez suffered and was further hurt when Trujillo married someone else shortly thereafter.
Juan Gabriel sang the song at many of his concerts and afterwards he always had a large cognac glass in his hand that was said to be filled with whiskey. During the performance of this song, he took a small sip from the glass and threw the rest away in several stages. Occasionally he imitated a drunkard during the song.
Artista: Juan Gabriel

Amigos, I hope that my interpretation is to everyone's liking! A big hug, happy weekend, God bless you all!
