Happy HPUD (To All That Celebrate!)

Ladies and gentlemen, children of all ages, welcome to a celebratory podcast here on the blockchain. Thank you guys for listening. I always do appreciate when I know that people actually listen to this because they comment and... bring up points that I actually spoke about, which is nice. You always worry sometimes when you do these things, like, are people even listening to them? And I get it, you know, Hive doesn't have the reach of, say, you know, YouTube or some other social media platform, but, you know, what Hive does have is amazing people, and really, the people that are here are what make this blockchain. You know, that's beating a dead horse here. You guys know how I feel. I've been saying that for years, the most important thing here. which sometimes gets overlooked is the people that make this blockchain, the community. I've been here for almost a decade now. That's crazy. Like, almost a decade. It's pretty much the only crypto I have, the only cryptocurrency blockchain that I use, that I've ever used, really. And it's home. It's home for me. And I think sometimes that's a really good thing to remember. Not that. It's the only blockchain that I use, but that you can use this stuff. And we continue to use it, and we continue to, the apps are here, and it's just an awesome feeling. And tonight, well, whenever you listen to this, it's actually Hive Power Up Day, which is what I wanted to discuss, what I wanted to talk about today. And it's my, my new... strategy, let's say, what I've been doing, and I just wanted to share it with you guys. I wrote about this a couple of weeks ago, but I thought I would just talk about it because it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's kind of this tradition that we have on chain, where, you know, we, we, we want those little badges, man, the badges from HiveBuzz, and if you power up, I think it's a minimum of, of, 10? Is it 10 or 100? I'm not sure it's one of the other, but, you know, like, let's say 100 hive power, you get this little badge, and it's a little B, and depending on how much hive power you, you, you, you, you, you power up, how much high if you power up, it's the size of the B you get. So, there's gamification in it. It's a lot of fun. I'm, I'm obviously a huge fan of gamification. I love, I love badges. You know, my history, that will make a lot more sense when I say I love badges. But generally, it's just a little token of kind of like, you know, not bragging rights per se, but just like keeping track of your journey on chain. Like, hey, look, you know, it's been... X amount of months that I've powered up every, you know, first of the month for three years. That's awesome. And I think that's what HiveBuzz really allows us to do, is to showcase the, uh, the commitment. Is that the right word? Let's say commitment to, uh, to this chain. And, sorry, going back to what I'm doing now going forward, I want to make sure I always have enough Hive to power up. on the first of the month. And I want to get a sizable chunk now. Obviously, the price of Hive has been pretty stable, if not, more positive. It's been more on the green side of things recently, so powering up a whole bunch of Hive is harder. But what I'm doing is every single layer 2 token that I'm earning throughout the month, I sell for Swap Hive on Hive Engine, or Tribal Decks. And I'm taking every single hive that I earn there. and I'm powering it up. So it stays in my Hive engine account all month. This month, it looks like I'm going to get around 250 to 250 hive power that is getting changed from Swap Hive over to Hive, and then I'm powering that up. So I'm going to get a nice little B. I'm going to get my little B for powering up, you know, over 100 hive. That's how I'm going forward. Now, what I used to do is I would just, like, sell Swap Hive and power it up, or, sorry, swap Hive to Liquid Hive, and I would power it up throughout the month. And then, you know, it's great, I'd be powering up every day, but I didn't have that big chunk at the first of the month. And I think there's metrics, and there's people that are tracking this, like, how much Hive gets powered up on the first of the month. And I think the more that we have there, the stronger. it looks for the community that believes in this chain and wants to constantly power up each and every basically month. So that's what I'm doing going forward. Now it's, it's, it's, this is the third month I've done this. Um, and I've also got some, uh, just, just, just all the, all the projects like the, the, the stuff on layer two that I've been earning throughout the month, I just, I just take that. It's like, it's like free money. It's, it's bonus. crypto that we're earning anyways on top of the hive we're earning, I'm just taking that, flipping it into swap hive and powering that up. And it's been, it's been going great. So like I said, throughout the month, all of the extra effort I've put into other layer two tokens on chain, I'll be getting about 250 to 260 liquid hive at the end of the month here, which is today, and I'll be powering that up. That's my strategy, and it's kind of, it's nice. It's a nice feeling to know that I'll always have, depending on my activity here, I'll always have some extra hive to power up. So, happy hive pud, hive pud. Happy H-Pud, hive-up day, to all that are celebrating today, I hope you guys get a lot of extra hive powered up. Don't listen to the noise, don't listen to the negative nancy's. This blockchain, is the best. It really is. Is it perfect? Not at all. Is there things that we all wish could change? Absolutely. I think there's tons of stuff we could change on chain, but push comes to shove, day in and day out, being able to produce content, to curate content in a true Web3 environment.
