Comienza a amasar poco a poco.
Procede a cortar cuatro o cinco pedazos. Reseva.
Enrrolla poco a poco y dale forma.

Hello dear friends of @FodiesBeeHive, it's been a while since I've been here. I tell you that you will see me more often around these parts because a few days ago my husband and I made an investment in technology to be able to take the most beautiful photos of the recipes that I will be presenting. I like to cook and make fusions with flavors so this year I will resume my hobby of preparing different recipes to share with my family and of course with you.
I feel that cooking is the best way to show love for others, as it takes work, dedication and willingness to do it. Cooking is an art.
There are days that I like to spoil my kids and my husband with a different meal. Last Sunday was no exception. So we set up our patio with a table and decided to have breakfast in the sunlight listening to the birds sing 😊.
Today I present a very well known food in my country, Venezuela. It is called Cachito. The Cachito is a bread similar to a croissant that is rolled and filled with ham, cheese or mixed or with both ingredients.
According to history, it is said that when European immigrants arrived in our country fleeing from war, they created the cachito in our country. It is not known for sure who was the father of the cachitos, but what is certain is that the Cachito became a typical breakfast in our country.
If you want to know how to prepare this delicious recipe, I invite you to watch my video and read the rest of the post to learn how to prepare this delicious bakery delicacy.
🥐 750 grams of wheat flour.
🥐 1 cup milk
🥐 100 grams of butter
🥐 ½ tablespoon of salt.
🥐 2 tablespoons sugar
🥐 1 tablespoon of yeast
🥐 2 eggs
🥐 ½ kilo of cheese
In a bowl, place ¼ cup of warm milk. It should not be hot or cold, it should be lukewarm.
Place in the bowl a tablespoon of sugar and stir well.
Luego, añade la cucharada de levadura instantánea.
Stir with a whisk until all ingredients are well mixed.
1.Cover the bowl with a cloth and set the sponge aside in a dark place for at least 45 minutes. This is to allow the sponge to rise, i.e., for the yeast to activate and ferment.
Place the wheat flour in a wave cup.
Then, add half a teaspoon of salt and a tablespoon of sugar to the flour.
Also add the butter.
Add two eggs to the mixture.
Then, pour in the sponge.
Mix all the ingredients together.
Start kneading little by little. Add splashes of milk so that the dough does not become dry.
Knead until all ingredients are integrated.
The dough should not be too watery, dry or stiff. Its texture should be doughy.
Then, on a work surface, place a little wheat flour and begin to knead.
Give light strokes to the dough so that the yeast activates and the dough becomes spongy.
Cover the dough with a cloth to allow it to rise.
While you wait, butter and flour the mold.
Place the dough back on the counter.
Proceed to cut four or five pieces. Set aside.
Flatten the dough pieces with a rolling pin.
Stretch well with the rolling pin so that the dough is very thin.
Cut the dough into triangle shapes with a pizza cutter.
Then place the filling.
Roll it up little by little and shape it.
Dip your fingers in milk or water to stick the dough together. That way we prevent them from unrolling when baking.
Place the pieces in the mold. Then, glaze them with butter and peach jam.
Bake them in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes. Be careful because some ovens are faster than others.
With this recipe we can bake up to 14 small pieces. As I wanted them to be done quickly I used the two ovens I have. One is electric.
Once ready, you can serve it with coffee with milk, orange juice or a malt.
I hope you liked my content and see you in the next post.
