MYCELIC MORPHOID | Focus Chest

I still don't understand why I lost BERTROL GOBSON with 3 Health to an attack on MYCELIC MORPHOID with Thorns ability which the damage is supposed to be 2 on BERTROL GOBSON.

I understand the -1 Health effect from IMMORTALIS on my monsters but I can't figure out why a damage that was supposed to be 2 became 3. I like my gladiators and care about them so I'd like to know if anyone knows why.

Fortunately, the other GOBSON won the battle for the team.

I am a fan of MYCELIC MORPHOID for a backline defense against Sneak monsters. It only gets additional health at max level, therefore any level from 3 is okay for me where it gains the Thorns ability since it is rarely used in the frontline, except for Melee Mayhem the Speed is not much of a benefit for me to consider.

The Gold Foil is selling for $0.59 and the Regular Foil $0.018.
