OCTOPIDER'S Show, Stalemate It Ended

OCTOPIDER a scary looking monster with a combination of spider and octopus features. The grotesque monster can move both on land and water, with a habit of disappearing into an inky, venomous cloud when threatened, a habit making it a very deadly monster against enemy monsters in Splinterlands.

OCTOPIDER get more powerful from level 3 upwards where it gains the ability to reduce melee attack of enemy monsters.

Currently going for $0.15 in the market a level 3 OCTOPIDER will be awesome and in this battle it took the fifth spot in my lineup.

Having 99 mana to my disposal I had the liberty of opting big mana monsters with ROBO-DRAGON KNIGHT monster leading the attack. Here is a monster that is big on everything, from 11 mana, speed, melee attack, shield and heart as well which makes it hold the frontline much longer.

Being a earthquake rule I needed PHANTASM in the lineup at second position as it has the ability of evading earthquakes.

HAUNTED SPIRIT steps in on third spot as I wanted monsters staying longer in the battle due to the earthquake and fumes rules.

My favourite death splinter magic monster in fourth spot. I like this monster because of it's ability to gain additional health in proportion to damage done to enemy monster each round but unfortunately the rules of this battle was too much for ANCIENT LICH to survive the battle.

My bet was on CORNEALUS winning the battle for me with it's ability to regain portion of health after each round but with my opponent's vicious SAND WORM coming at CORNEALUS with earthquakes and fumes each round my hope of winning the battle was gone leaving me to claim a draw in a battle against higher level monsters.
