Why I Had Wave Brood Upgraded

The rate at which last season was difficult calls for changing tactics, trying out different strategies to remain competitive otherwise one is sure to get run over by opponents on steroid.
So I felt my WAVE BROOD needs upgrading to level 3, I wanted that 2 range attack. Though a very slow NFT card the abilities are my favorites; Taunt and close Range.
A Wave Brood is a corrupted water elemental twisted by the Chaos Legion. Summoners distort the magic used to create the elemental, making it a chaotic and fearsome creature. Wave Broods are completely devoted to their summoner and are often used in naval warfare, sinking ships and guarding the Legion's fleets and forces.
A Gold Foil WAVE BROOD currently sells at $26 while the Regular Foil is selling at $2.35.

BORTUS my summoner of choice with -1 magic on enemy monsters, DRAKE OF ARNAK opponent's summoner +1 Armor for friendly monsters.
The large, floating eyeball monster known as CORNEALUS has strange magical powers and can see anything for miles in any direction. No one knows from whence it came. You would want such a powerful monster lead your attack, so it was a CORNEALUS led lineup.
In second spot is VENARI WAVESMITH with +2 Armor for friendly monsters.
PIRATE ARCHER's Blast ability bring in a bit of YODIN ZAKU effect onto Water Splinter in third place.
You got to love the Triage ability of SPIRIT HOARDER healing the friendly backline with the most damage. The goal is to keep WAVE BROOD in the battle as long as possible.
Partnering with SPIRIT HOARDER is ANGELIC MANDARIN with the Triage ability as well. Both with such ability and being able to attack with magic and range is a delight.
Diverting targets to WAVE BROOD was the intention and having it stay in the game longer which happened to work out perfectly. Having it upgraded to level 4 will be awesome for the Void ability.
Having my WAVE BROOD upgraded have been paying off as desired.
