Shy & Reclusive But River Nymphs Are Fiercely Protective

When it comes to the Noxious Fumes ruleset RIVER NYMPH is the go-to card for the Cleanse ability provided for the friendly monster in the first position, so she earns a place as everyone's favorite where there is no Immunity ability monster to be used. RIVER NYMPHS are shy according to the Lore which we shall read about shortly but they are very protective which explains why they have the Cleanse ability...

River Nymphs inhabit the rivers of the Splinterlands. Shy and reclusive, they usually remain hidden beneath the water's surface. However, they have a strong respect for life, and they have been known to aid those in need. They are also fiercely protective of their homes and will defend them if it is threatened.

With the powerful ancient magic of DJINN OSHANNUS, it is capable of attacking from any spot in the lineup and for this battle, it led my frontline with the hope of getting the Cleanse help from RIVER NYMPH to stay in the battle longer. With a high Health of 11, a speed of 5, and Void and Phase ability the OSHANNUS Tank I felt can be relied on.

Being a Noxious Fumes ruleset the more high health cards I field the better so with Reach ability FLYING SQUID attacks from the second position.

With the Cleanse ability RIVER NYMPH, takes up the third spot in my lineup with the hope of not getting eliminated before removing the negative effect on OSHANNUS. Looking at the price of RIVER NYMPH, a Regular Foil is selling for $0.12 while the Gold Foil is around $2.0

Some Armor protection will do for my lineup and VENARI WAVESMITH is my go-to card for the +2 Armor on friendly monsters, though low in health for this battle, it is vital RIVER NYMPH is not eliminated from taking the first hit.

At the beginning of the current season, I had my CHAOS DRAGON upgraded to level 2 for the Blast ability and it has been nothing but outstanding in performance from the beast whose next victim is always unknown until it launches an attack with the Scattershot ability.

CORNEALUS will always make it into my Noxious Fumes lineup because of the Heal ability it has. With no threat from Sneak monsters, it comfortably occupies the backline with attacks from Range.

And victory was mine!
