Explaining Bitcoin to a novice without losing them from the very fist sentence can be daunting

I oftentimes find myself in situations where I have to explain what Bitcoin is to people and in less than a minute, I can tell from reactions I'm losing this person.

I keep looking for simpler ways to do this as I'm looking at givinga bit of my Bitcoin knowledge for minimal fee without ripping people off 😀

Any suggestions will be appreciated guys.
