It is 2 days away from the end of the current Splinterlands season, haven hung around in the Silver league for most of the season to avoid the tougher opponents in the Gold league I eventually advanced to the Gold league 2 days ago and the battles have been as expected fiercely competitive.
To accumulate 50 season chests has always been my target and so far I am at the 47th accumulated chest with 3 short of my target. It is most likely I will exceed 50 chests, though a lot depends on the content of the chests than the number of chests accumulated.
I have been having some interesting battles, I win some and lose some. In this video, I share some of my battles with the first battle being Equalizer, Up Close & Personal ruleset.
I got away with having my opponent Demoralized and being an all-Melee attack battle, it presents the perfect opportunity to be mean.
I was on the receiving end in the second battle as my opponent used a double Repair ability cards against me, making it tougher to get passed the opponent's Tank, a very impressive strategy that works well and annoyingly if you get it right. It was an Equalizer & Briar Patch ruleset.
Interestingly, most of the battles I shared are Equalizer ruleset battles. It is uncommon for me to focus my attack on a source, I like spreading out my attacks but in this battle I was focused on confronting my opponent from the frontline and it turned out an impressive win.
I had to find ways for my level 4 BORTUS to stay relevant following the launch of KELYA FRENDUL, I often prefer BORTUS to counter magic attacks but FRENDUL proves it is capable of that as well in this battle.
And it was a bad idea to fight for my 7th chest as you saw from the video. Good luck finishing the season as high as possible guys.
