Sometimes you don't need a Tank Heal or Repair ability to keep the Tank in the frontline all you need is a troublesome Sneak gladiator to tear the opponent backline apart and in this battle that was Katrelba's mission, was she successful? Lets's find out.
The ruleset for this week's BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge! is Fire & Regret, it is always fun to participate in the challenge, so join in and be part of the fun.

I am liking Dodge ability of TERRACEOUS GRUNT plue it has got high health suitable to be used as a Tank in some rulesets of other rulesets like Equal Opportunity which I have found it very useful, so with my strategy for this battle in mind I needed a high Tank that isn't going to cosnt me too much mana, and TERRACEOUS GRUNT was the one I opted for.
REGAL PERYTON occupies the second spot in my lineup, rarely do I place Peryton in the second spot in my lineup but for this battle, placing it in the second spot turned out great as it benefited form the Martyr ability for extra magic damage.
Peryton has got a Flight ability that makes it's chances of evading attacks very high.
Up next was VENARI MARKSRAT in the third spot, this is a kind of battle where I wish Marksrat has less than 4 health so the Martyr ability can kick in a lot quicker so as to take advantage of the Martyr ability.
The plan was Marksrat to be eliminated due to the Fire & Regret ruleset which isn't favorable if the plan is to have it on the battlefield for longer but ironically, I was it eliminated as soon as possible.
And the reason I want Marksrat to be eliminated sooner is because I want the main strength of my lineup, KATRELBA GOBSON to benefit from the Martyr ability.
Katrelba occupies the fourth spot in my lineup with a mission to tear apart the enemy backline, and when you task a troublesome gladiator like Katrelba, she will stop at nothing to see the job done. It is always a case of stoping Katrelba before she stops an enemy, this time out there was no stopping her with the Bloodlust, Sneak and Double Strike abilities.
FUNGUS FLINGER was tasked to do the same as Marksrat, with the Martyr ability, Katrelba was a beneficiary of Martyr boost, even worse for the opponent, the battle is also a Born Again ruleset most suitable for a gladiator.
To get some attack diverted away from TERRACEOUS GRUNT, I placed MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN in the backline with the Taunt ability to take some hits for the team which gives Katrelba some time to get destructive at the enemy backline.
Things got very ugly for the opponent, not even Brightwing's Repair and Rusurrect abilities could help put things under control. To give some credit to Brightwing, she put up a good fight against Katrelba in the last round but the priceness of the gladiator was unmatched.
