You don't get a battle rule that allows for the use of a gladiator card and not take advantage of it, not only did I use one gladiator card, I used two to increase my chances of doing destructive damage to my opponent.
The gladiator cards have increased the excitement on the battlefield and call for one to be more strategic. The Bloodlust of these gladiators can't be ignored, use them well and they are most likely to win you battles.

With LOBB as my summoner with the -1 Speed on enemy monsters, a high-speed monster is needed for my Tank, so I opted for VENARI KNIFER to lead the frontline. It has Thorns ability, KNIFER held up quite nicely till the third round.
MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN occupies the second spot in my lineup with the Taunt ability, a similar strategy deployed by my opponent. MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN has become a frequent on the battlefield since its launch due to its Taunt and high health ability.
QUORA TOWERSHEAD is the fearful one, have it anywhere in the lineup and it will attack. Still, it requires well-planned placing in the lineup to prevent its quick elimination or suffering Affliction from GOBLIN PSYCHIC.
I must admit placing QUORA in the most suitable spot in the lineup is always a challenge for me because of the reasons mentioned above, I want to have it stay in the battle for as long as possible. So it takes up the third spot in my lineup.
KATRELBA GOBSON is my new favorite gladiator, it is not new in my deck but has not been given much chance on the battlefield until recently and it proved its usefulness I can't stop using it ever since.
It comes with Bloodlust, Sneak, and Double Strike abilities, and wow this gladiator is deadly when the enemy backline isn't protected enough to withstand the destructive power of KATRELBA GOBSON.
GOBLIN PSYCHIC provided the Tank Heal ability from the spot, it was undisturbed in the lineup as my opponent's attack strategy was focused only through the frontline. I am not a fan of attacking from one direction, spreading out my attacks is what I enjoy and have paid off mostly than the confrontation.
MITICA HEADHUNTER tops one of my favorite range monsters in the Earth Splinter, at level one it is brutal enough to get the damages done with a speed of 5, and a damage of 4 with the Snare ability. An ability that enemies can't run away from. HEADHUNTER takes up the backline in my lineup.
