Undoubtedly a complex language to develop, improvisation deserves a lot of study, knowledge, perseverance and creation of a lexicon.

Basically it all comes down to talking, telling a story through the instrument; just like talking; When we are learning a language, we know words with which we can create a sentence and throughout the study we manage to be COHERENT to the point that we can have a conversation with another person having knowledge of the subject in question.

That also happens in music, improvisation is about that, to connect, to interact with the listener, expressing words or narrating stories through the instrument.

What do we need to know to improvise on the instrument?
We must understand musical harmony, the changes that we can see in it and how to deal with them, taste, the sense of time, duration of phrases and the ability to express something sensible and orderly.

I do not know about putting notes without any meaning because it simply does not sound good, it is not about practicing scales in their order either, it is much more than that, it is a dialogue, a form of expression.

For this, it is important to create licks or phrases that we can apply to a progression, chord and harmonic cycle.

As we create licks or phrases our language will expand and face changes (in jazz you see a lot) it will be much easier since we will have melodies internalized in our language to be able to cope in any harmonic scenario.

My recommendation is basically that, the creation of your own phrases, will undoubtedly facilitate everything in this beautiful art called "improvisation"

Sin duda un lenguaje complejo de desarrollar, la improvisación amerita de mucho estudio, conocimiento, constancia y creación de un léxico.

Básicamente todo se reduce en hablar, en contar una historia a traves del instrumento; tan igual como conversar; cuando estamos aprendiendo un idioma, conocemos palabras con las que podemos crear una oración y a lo largo del estudio logramos ser COHERENTES a tal punto que podemos mantener una conversación con otra persona teniendo conocimiento del tema en cuestión.

Eso también pasa en la música, la improvisación trata de eso, de conectar, de interactuar con el oyente, expresando palabras o narrando historias a través del instrumento.

Que necesitamos conocer para improvisar en el instrumento?
Debemos entender la armonía musical, los cambios que podemos ver en la misma y de que manera afrontarlos, el gusto, el sentido del tiempo, duración de las frases y la capacidad de expresar algo sensato y ordenado.

No sé trata de poner notas sin sentido alguno porque sencillamente no sonara bien, no se trata tampoco de practicar escalas en su orden, es mucho más que eso, es un diálogo, una forma de expresión.

Para esto es importante la creación de licks o frases que podamos aplicar sobre alguna progresión, acorde y ciclo armónico.

A medida que creamos licks o frases nuestro lenguaje se irá apliando y afrontar cambios (En el jazz se ve mucho) será mucho más fácil puesto que tendremos melodías internalizadas en nuestro lenguaje para poder hacer frente en cualquier escenario armónico.

Mi recomendación es básicamente esa, la creación de frases propias, sin duda facilitarán todo en este bello arte llamado " improvisacion"
