No podrán, no podrán,

My regards to you! A new week with great covers and a lot of talent. Every week is a chapter to write musically and I am happy to be part of this musical family. I WANT TO THANK THE MODERATORS: @cabelindsay, @mipiano, @juliopalomo, @daniel2001, @jesuslnrs, @musicandreview and @fernanblog. Some more recent than others. Thank you for your hard work in motivating the musicians and singers who make life in the community! I believe that this community is growing with great force, so a hug from the bottom of my heart.
The author of this song has used what is a fantastic book as a tool, a story that has no comparison.
but this lyrics together with this melody, brings an intention that is not only to entertain but also to make the listener reflect.
In a current social context where bad habits, negative emotions and lack of empathy are becoming "morally acceptable"; This theme becomes a protest against this social involution.
If you are a Gulliver in this current society you have 2 options: get more giant friends or get caught by the dwarfs.
LYRICS:
One day
the dwarfs will rebel
Against Gulliver.
All the men with tiny hearts
armed with sticks and sickles
they will assault the only giant
with their little grudges, with their bile,
with their rage of shaved and myopic dwarfs.
Poor you, Gulliver, poor you,
the day that all the dwarfs
Unite your tools and your hate,
their customs, their vices, their portfolios,
their schedules. You can't, you can't
You can't forgive yourself for being tall.
For them generosity is nothing more
that a luxury that they cannot afford,
they live fueled by envy
that inhabits them in the form of habit.
Watch them shift suspiciously behind their horn-rimmed glasses.
They will accuse you, they will accuse you, they will accuse you:
of being the one-eyed man in the country of the blind,
to be the one who speaks in the land of the dumb,
to be the madman in the country of the sane,
to walk in the country of the tired,
to be wise in the country of fools,
of being bad in the country of the good,
to have fun in the country of the serious,
to be free in the country of prisoners,
to be alive in the country of the dwarfs,
to be the voice that cries in the desert,
to be the voice that cries in the desert.
