Happy week 102 to all the participants of the Hive Open Mic. On this occasion, Maestro @digitalopus has gathered us under the theme "Touching Souls"; a perfect title for the work we develop as artists, since we have the power to move emotions in the viewers. Particularly music is the one who accompanies me day by day, in all its facets, whether through my love, my family, my work or my hobbies. If there is a soul that has been touched by God and music, it is mine.

On this occasion I am once again joined by a colleague from the community. One of the oldest Spanish speaking users in the Hive Open Mic, a Master and a great human being. With you Mr. Landis @Lecumberre, a Venezuelan colleague who lives far away from Caracas and has always been known for presenting original songs for his participations and today I am pleased to do this duet with him with his latest creation "Tocando Almas", composed especially for this week.

I hope this work will be to everyone's liking. The recording and editing tools for this material were made with a TECNO POVA II and the programs Shotcut and Audacity. Thanks to all the people who support me in one way or another in Hive Blog and Open Mic; I always try to reciprocate the love I receive from you. Have a nice day!...

Tocando Almas

Bajo este sol imagino
vaivén de las finas palmas
y pienso que así también
se pueden tocar las almas.

Es que el mundo necesita
mucha sensibilidad,
y que el amor entre todos
tenga luminosidad.*

Del alma surge la paz
junto a la felicidad
traduciéndose en la tierra
en bien de la humanidad.

Dentro de todos nosotros
tiene que haber esperanza
a la cooperación mutua
reforzada en la confianza.*

Pidamos a Dios que el mundo
se revista de bondad
en el pleno entendimiento
y la solidaridad.

Aguardemos en la fe
teniendo paciencia y calma
en que podamos brindar
bellos mensajes del alma.

Touching Souls

Under this sun I imagine
the swaying of the fine palms
and I think that in this way
souls can also be touched.

The world needs
a lot of sensitivity,
and that love among all
to have luminosity.

From the soul comes peace
together with happiness
translating itself on earth
for the good of mankind.

Within all of us
there must be hope
for mutual cooperation
strengthened in trust.

Let us ask God that the world
be clothed in goodness
in full understanding
and solidarity.

Let us wait in faith
in patience and calm
that we may bring
beautiful messages from the soul.

¡Feliz semana 102 a todos los participantes del Hive Open Mic!. En esta ocasión, el Maestro @digitalopus nos ha reunido bajo la temática "Tocando Almas"; un título perfecto para el trabajo que desarrollamos como artistas. ya que tenemos el poder de mover emociones en los espectadores. Particularmente la música es quien me acompaña día a día, en todas sus facetas, ya sea a través de mi amor, mi familia, mi trabajo o mis pasatiempos. Si hay un alma que ha sido tocada por Dios y la música, esa es la mía.

En esta ocasión me acompaña nuevamente un colega de la comunidad. Uno de los usuarios de habla hispana más antiguos en el Hive Open Mic, un Maestro y un gran ser humano. Con ustedes el Señor Landis @Lecumberre, un colega venezolano que vive bien lejos de Caracas y que siempre se ha caracterizado por presentar canciones originales para sus participaciones y hoy tengo el agrado de hacer este dueto junto a él con su última creación "Tocando Almas", compuesta especialmente para esta semana.

Espero este trabajo sea del agrado de todos. Las herramientas de grabación y edición de este material se realizó con un TECNO POVA II y los programas Shotcut y Audacity.
