I send a big hug to all the Hive Open Mic! community. Great friends that despite my absence of posts in the last weeks we always have a great communication. The whole month of June has been terrible for me between work and sickness. In fact having to work feeling so bad I don't wish it to anyone. But I think I am starting July with a different kind of luck.

I send a very special greeting to @ovey10, this week's featured artist who chose the theme Sound Trumpet for this 116th edition. Great theme, but a bit difficult to interpret a song hehe. Still I've noticed that everyone has raised their voices as powerful and shrill as a trumpet to convey various messages throughout the community. This song that I present today I wanted to do it in the week More Than Words by @davidbolu34 and then in Doing The Work by @lk666, it seemed appropriate for both, but now I will make it sound and vibrate like a trumpet sound.

Pies Descalzos, Sueños Blancos was one of the first international songs by Colombian Shakira. I believe it was published in 1995 and in fact it is the title track of her album, her children's foundation in Colombia and it is a phrase that has always identified her as an artist. In fact I think she still sings barefoot in her concerts. I have always felt it as a wake-up call to humanity, to society and its silly rules. What I like most about the song is its rock strength.

To record this cover I used my Tecno Pova II equipment for video and photography. The editing is always done with Audacity, Shotcut and PhotoDirector. A few days ago my friend @maitt82 posted this same song and wow she did amazing, now I even feel sorry to post this humble cover 🤣 but you know how I am when it comes to Shakira. I take this opportunity to thank Omar and Dina from @musicandreview, the best thing that happened to me in my birthday month despite how hard it was was was receiving this gift of lights from them that brought me a lot of satisfaction in this video and set my imagination flying for future projects. I love you guys. Many thanks to you and many thanks to all my friends who see and comment on my posts, you know that love is reciprocal...

¡Envío un gran abrazo a toda la comunidad de Hive Open Mic!. Grandes amigos que a pesar de mi ausencia de posts de las últimas semanas siempre tenemos una gran comunicación. Todo el mes de Junio ha sido terrible para mí entre trabajo y enfermedad. De hecho tener que trabajar sintiéndome tan mal no se lo deseo a nadie. Pero creo que arranco Julio con una suerte distinta.

Envío un saludo muy especial a @ovey10, el artista destacado de esta semana que eligió el tema Sound Trumpet para esta edición 116. Gran tema, pero un poco difícil para interpretar una canción jeje. Aún así he notado que todos han alzado sus voces tan potentes y estridentes como una trompeta para transmitir diversos mensajes a través de la comunidad. Esta canción que hoy les presento quise hacerla en la semana More Than Words de @davidbolu34 y luego en Doing The Work de @lk666, me parecía adecuada para ambas, pero ahora la haré sonar y vibrar cual sonido de trompeta.

Creo que se publicó en 1995 y de hecho es la que da título a su álbum, su fundación infantil en Colombia y es una frase que siempre la ha identificado como artista. De hecho creo que aún canta con los pies descalzos en sus conciertos. Siempre la he sentido como un llamado de atención a la humanidad, a la sociedad y sus tontas reglas. Lo que más me gusta de la canción es su fuerza rock.

Hace unos días mi amiga @maitt82 publicó esta misma canción y vaya que lo ha hecho increíble, ahora hasta siento pena de publicar este humilde cover 🤣 pero ya saben como soy cuando se trata de Shakira. Aprovecho de agradecer a Omar y Dina de @musicandreview, lo mejor que me ha pasado en mi mes de cumpleaños a pesar de lo difícil que fue ha sido recibir este regalo de luces de parte de ellos que me han traído mucha satisfacción en este video y han puesto a volar mi imaginación para futuros proyectos. Los amo chicos. Muchas gracias a ustedes y muchas gracias a todos mis amigos que ven y comentan mis posts, ya saben que el cariño es recíproco...
