Hello hive Afritunes week #104, my name is @jesus-son and here I bring you a presentation to celebrate the week. These days I am dealing with the yoruba songs, hehe. So I shall be presenting the cover of a yoruba song that I came to love after learning it. Well, it was necessity that made me learn it but after which I loved it and I sing it now very often. I hope you too would love it as much as I do or more, hehe. Thanks for your presence and time.
I present the cover of the song "Wa o Emi mimo o" it means "come Holy Spirit". That leaves me to reflect with you on the theme of the Holy Spirit. Who is the Holy Spirit? Where does He stay and what does He do for us? . Well for some of us who are Christians, these questions wouldn't be an issue to deal with and much specifically for the Catholics, it would be much clearer to explain. However, the reality of the Holy Spirit remains a problem of constant discourse among theological scholars and Christian writers. This is with regards arriving at a common idea on the nature of the Holy Spirit.
In this post, I cannot afford to delve into such a magnificent discussion because the platform is not meant for that. However, for the interest of just a brief summary of my belief, the Holy Spirit is the spirit of God who is a real person and is Present within us to help us in our daily lives. The Holy spirit is always available to help us, but He does not act unless we permit Him. Thus, this song is a perfect one to call on the Holy Spirit to be a helper to us, to come dwell within is and make our lives meaningful.
This is an inspirational song and at the same time, a song in form of prayer, therefore, join me to sing and pray. Thanks for coming around.
