It is with much pleasure that I greet you once again, beautiful people, and welcome to another edition of Afritunes' live musical performance. My Everything is a song by Joy Saliu that I am inspired to sing today, and I wish to share it with you.
The title says it all. In every situation we find ourselves in, God remains our everything.
In the scriptures, Job understood this. God already knew the kind of person he was but still permitted the devil to bring destruction upon his household. However, God made it clear to the devil that he must not touch his soul.
I believe the story of Job sums up this way: It is not abundance that makes a difference, but our relationship with God.
For some days now, I have been thinking of one word in particular. We are affected by what we focus our minds on, whether we focus them positively or negatively. This is what it says.
If you focus your mind on God as your everything, you will see him act in that way in every area of your life.
Meanwhile, Sekani's post last week inspired me to do the same this week. This is my second attempt. I experimented with the first one in my recent Hive Open Mic post.
To be honest, this one was quite challenging because of the parts and modulations. Even though it isn't perfect, I scaled through. The next one will be better.
The instrumentals of this song was gotten from Moises App. I upload the song and turned down the volume of the vocals.
Thanks for tuning in and I hope you enjoy watching the video.
