Hive Open Mic Week 178 || King of Glory (cover) by @jessicaossom

Greetings to everyone in the Hive Open Mic Community. I am glad I have the chance to publish a post in the community this week. I am looking forward to reading everyone's work and seeing the creativity that everyone puts into their pieces. I am also hoping to learn from everyone and be inspired by what I read.

I had already prepared a song to sing last week; the theme was 'PRAISE'. As a result of the test we took last weekend, I had to concentrate on studying that week, making it difficult for me to record another video. The test isn't over yet, except that no other lecturer has informed us about a test that will come up this weekend.

I am still studying, and doing my best so that I will be able to attempt any question in case an impromptu test comes up.

The song I chose to sing is titled 'King of Glory' by Cece Winans. The lady is a wonderful gospel artist. She has a very unique voice. No matter where I am, when I hear her sing, even without being told who the artist is, I can always recognize her voice.

This week's theme isn't 'PRAISE' but 'PEOPLE'. The song I had in mind to sing last week is what I am presenting this week because I feel they align. The song speaks about the power of God and how he is the king of glory. I thought it would be an appropriate song to sing this week as it speaks about people and how God has the power to bring people together.

Praises are offered to God, right? Who offers them? Yeah, people.

People who believe in the Messiah will give God praise because they know that they have nothing else that can be enough to praise the supreme being who surrounds us every day.

I decided to make my cover an acapella. As a result, I may do more acapella in the meantime until my earbuds are fixed.

I bought my earbuds on July 21, 2022, and I've been using them for a year now. Recently, I noticed that the charging port is not working properly, and because of that, I can't charge my earbuds. I just hope that the charging port can be fixed so I don't have to buy another pair.
