It's new year's Eve guys. I'm glad I have the opportunity to upload my presentation for Afri-tunes week 43.
I chose to sing the song suggested by the community titled Imela by Nathaniel Bassey. I needed a piano instrumental and since I cannot play one, I found one on YouTube.
In English, the song Imela means thank you. The lyrics of the song express gratitude to God.
I have a lot to be grateful for. Some may want to try to remember big achievements so they can show their gratitude. The truth is that it isn't the big things that matter but the small ones.
It's a privilege to see this day. A lot of people had plans for this day, but unfortunately for them, they are no more.
Some may feel that they have achieved nothing throughout the year, but they forget that as long as there is life, there is hope.
Despite all I have been through this year, I'm glad that the happy and bad times made it a wonderful one for me.
There is no end to my gratitude. With this song, I am saying thank you to God for how he protected me, and provided for me. In the moments he was there for me and I didn't know it, the times he comforted me and gave me peace of mind, the times he fought battles on my behalf, the miraculous interventions in my life, the sufficient grace. I will never be able to thank him enough.
Take a look at your life. There's a lot to be grateful for.
