Saludos comunidad de hive, se preguntaran por que ese titulo... Es que aquí donde vivo el 14 de enero es un día especial es el día de la procesión de la divina pastora.

She is a religious image that every year goes on a march through every barquisimeto accompanied by all her followers, she is very worshipped in my region and several parts of Venezuela, it is said that she is one of the virgins that has performed more miracles here in my country.

Ella es una imagen religiosa que cada año sale a dar una marcha por todo barquisimeto acompañado de todos sus seguidores, la misma es muy adorada en mi region y varias partes de Venezuela, se dice que es una de las vírgenes que mas milagros ha realizado aquí en mi país.

The day started at 5 in the morning, it was very unusual because that day most people wake up even earlier, with my girlfriend and a friend we were doing the marathon to where the divine shepherdess leaves for the procession and we took these pictures:

El día comenzó a las 5 de la mañana, fue muy inusual ya que ese día la mayoría de personas se despiertan aun mas temprano, con mi novia y una amiga estuvimos haciendo el maratón hacia donde sale la divina pastora para la procesión y tomamos estas fotografias:

In this one it was already about 10 am, we were very tired, everything was closed, we managed to eat something on the way (that if I didn't I would faint) and we sat down to rest.

En esta ya eran como las 10 de la mañana, estábamos muy cansado, todo estaba cerrado, logramos comer algo por el camino (Que si no lo hacia me desmayaba) y nos sentamos a descansar.

One while my girlfriend tells me that I should take some pictures, which I put in the middle of the street as if it were a very aesthetic picture, trying to imitate a pose that girls always do in mockery mode.

Un rato mi novia me dice que debería de hacer algunas fotos, a lo que me puse en medio de la calle como si fuera una foto muy estética, tratando de imitar una pose de las que siempre hacen las chicas en modo de burla.

We could meet with my mom and my aunt, we were waiting for the Divine Shepherdess in a place where we could enjoy a good view.

Nos pudimos juntar con mi mama y mi tia, estabamos esperando la Divina Pastora en un punto donde pudieramos disfrutar de una buena vista.

Then a while later, my dad, my brother and my uncle arrive for the photo, we get together and take a family photo.

Luego un rato despues, mi papá, mi hermano y mi tio llegan para la foto, nos juntamos y tomamos una foto familiar.

After a while, we decided to go eat Chinese food, my girlfriend and I couldn't stand more than we had already walked, we were sleeping in the car on the way there.

Al rato de estar ahí, decidimos ir a comer comida china, mi novia y yo no podiamos aguantar mas de lo que ya habiamos caminado, estabamos durmiendonos en el carro de camino hacia alla.

When we arrived to the restaurant, my cousin sits next to me and starts bothering me just to kiss my girlfriend, I was not going to do it and after a while my uncle scolded her to stay calm.

Al llegar al restaurante, mi prima se sienta a mi lado y comienza a molestarme solo para que besara a mi novia, no lo iba a hacer y luego de un rato mi tio la regaño para que se quedara tranquila.

That's how my day ended, in a quiet way... After eating, I took my girlfriend and my parents to their house, we returned to ours and decided to go to sleep because it was too late to do anything else.

Asi culmino mi dia, de una forma tranquila... Ya luego de comer, lleve a mi novia junto a mis padres a su casa, nos regresamos a la nuestra y decidimos ir a dormir ya que era muy tarde para poder realizar algo mas.

So... Why is religion important to so many people?

Entonces... ¿Por que la religión es importante para tantas personas?

From my objective point of view, religion is a support for people, it gives them hope... The good vibe that can be transmitted by more than one person who is with you at that moment sticks to you, the support that those people give you is unimaginable.

Desde mi punto de vista objetivo, la religión es un apoyo para las personas, le da esperanza... La buena vibra que puede transmitir mas de una persona que esta junto a ti en ese momento se te pega, el apoyo que te dan esas personas es inimaginable.

I have told you that I am in a voluntary work... Dreaming Awake is also an apostolate, that through our actions we bring the word of God, so we can testify to what a good believer should be, someone who does well by what he does, not by what he says.

Yo he contado que estoy en un voluntariado... Soñar Despierto ademas de eso si alguno sabe, Soñar Despierto es un apostolado, que mediante las acciones llevamos la palabra de Dios, asi damos fe de lo que debe ser un buen creyente, alguien que hace bien por lo que hace, no por lo que dice.

¿La religión es importante para mi?

Yes it is, it is very important in life, it helps people know how to focus on their life and it helps me focus on mine, it is something that I have seen first hand as it helps people in an endless number of ways and makes them better until they reach their maximum potential.

Si lo es, es muy importante en la vida, ayuda a las personas a saber como enfocarse en su vida y me ayudo a enfocarme en la mía, es algo que he visto de primera mano como ayuda a las personas de un sin fin de maneras y las hace mejorar hasta llegar a su máximo potencial.
