Hello friends and family of Hive and welcome to my entry for Afri-tunes week #32. Its with great joy I bring to us a cover of "IMELA" by Nathaniel Bassey a famous gospel artist and a very talented trumpeter. The word "IMELA" is from the Language of the Igbo's in Nigeria. IMELA means "Thank You". Nathaniel Bassey in this song is thanking God for the amazing and wonderful things He has done in his life and He is still doing. I personally don't have anything to give God for the manifestation of His love over my life, His protection, His mercies and provisions. God has been faithful right from the beginning and I know till the end He alone remains the same. I am lifting my voice to also appreciate God for His greatness over my life, I hope you enjoy my entry...❤️❤️🎵

When I think upon Your goodness
    And Your faithfulness each day
I'm convinced it's not because I am worthy
To receive the kind of love that You give
But I'm grateful for Your mercy
And I'm grateful for Your grace
And because of how You've poured out your Yourself
I have come to sing this song out in praise

    Imela, Imela
Okaka, Onyekeruwa (Great and Might creator of the world)
Imela, Imela (Thank You! Thank You!)
    Eze mo (My King)

Who am I to sing Your praises?
Who am I to worship You?
Its Your blood that makes the difference in me
And made a way to enter into Your throne
I could not come near Your presence
I could never sing Your song
But the sacrifice on Calvary's tree
Is the reason I can cry out today

    Imela, Imela
    Okaka, Onyekeruwa
    Imela, Imela
    Eze mo

    Imela, Imela
    Okaka, Onyekeruwa
    Imela, Imela
    Eze mo...

    Onyedikagi (Who is like You?)
Ekene diri gi (All Glory belongs to You)
Onye ne mema (He who does good)
    Onyedikagi (Who is like You?)
Ekene diri gi (All Glory belongs to You)
    Onye nagworia (Mighty Healer)
