PRACTICE MAKES MASTERY: MY FINGER PICKING STYLE PRACTICE

The art of guitar playing is one of the beautiful skills that I have really appreciated having as a person.

I started playing the guitar a few years back in 2012 where I found a broken guitar and decided to use it to learn.

It's funny how I was laughed at as broken guitar would not be the best but I persisted as I didn't have money to purchase mine.

But over then till now it's all been a story of practice making mastery. Every single time I pick up the guitar reflect over years days and nights of practice that makes my hands my fingers and my brain to adopt and adapt to the new skill.

Yet I do not consider myself to have completely reached the peak of guitar playing as I found how much better people are here on this platform who played guitar even very well.

Choosing to share about how much practice can actually create mastery overtime has been on my mind as well as teaching the few little basic skills that I can. I'm sure a few people would benefit a lot from some setting guitar basics and I'm hoping to start pretty soon.

But we must know that learning the basics is pretty much important. It's easy to envy other players and want to play like them already but every skill you see took long time to learn.

I love to remind myself that if I don't practice for one day the guitar will leave me for 7 days.

In this video I was only using over a particular chord progression and practicing my right finger picking skills.
