Hola amigos de Hive, hace poco tuve la oportunidad de ser espectador de una obra de teatro después de muchos años, creo que la última vez que vi una obra fue hace unos 12 años, cuando estudiaba en la universidad. Época en la que había querido también incursionar en el teatro, pero por distintas circunstancias no fue así, hasta el año pasado en que decidí inscribirme en clases de teatro, pues más vale tarde que nunca y ahora me encuentro involucrado con este ámbito como estudiante y como espectador con una perspectiva de aprendizaje.

Sin Título es una obra de teatro dirigida por Omar González y protagonizada por mis profesoras de teatro Michelle Rodríguez y Alexandra Valencia @alexeyha86, quien también es mi novia. La primera función de esta obra se realizó en San Cristóbal, Venezuela, en marzo de 2022, y tuve la oportunidad de ser espectador de dos funciones de la tercera temporada el fin de semana pasado.

El tema principal de esta obra son las mujeres desaparecidas, y esto aborda la violencia de género, el secuestro, la trata de blancas, el feminicido. También toca sutilmente la problemática cultural respecto a la mujer, confinada a ciertos roles, o en condiciones de vulnerabilidad por el hecho de ser mujer en una sociedad que minimiza desvaloriza o desaprueba todo lo que tenga que ver con la feminidad.

El Director de Sin Título comentó cual fue su inspiración para crear esta obra, anécdota sucedida en la ciudad de México, cuando se encontró frente a un edificio gubernamental con paredes de cristal en los que simplemente no se podía ver hacia adentro o hacia afuera debido a la cantidad de papeles pegados de búsqueda de mujeres desaparecidas, donde quienes iban a colocar nuevos avisos ni siquiera encontraban ya un espacio libre para no tapar a las demás, provocando la necesidad de González de visibilizar esta preocupante situación mediante el arte.

A mi parecer las actrices llevaron a cabo una actuación impecable, la primera escena es impactante, y nos sumerge en una trágica situación, en donde una mujer encuentra a una de estas chicas desaparecidas, al está intentar reanimarla surge la incomodidad de sentirse observada por aquellos que le han hecho esto, están en todas partes, algo evidente las miradas temerosas y la prisa de la actriz mientras libera a la víctima.

Algo que me llamó especial atención, fue la capacidad de las actrices para entrar y salir de las emociones de forma repentina, pasar de un llanto a una risa de forma natural, y esto me pareció uno de los puntos a destacar a lo largo de la obra, pues hay constantes cambios en el discurso, en una escena son víctimas, en otra son narradoras, o mujeres con una vida normal, mujeres que buscan a una de sus familiares, incluso en algunas escenas se salen de sus papeles para mostrarse como Alexandria Valencia y Michelle Rodríguez, algo que me gustó, pues demuestran que lo que están representando no es nada ajeno a ellas, que aun fuera de sus roles, como mujeres son parte del tema planteado. Para diferenciar este cambio de escenas me pareció un factor clave juego con las emociones, estos cambios de ritmo, tan propios del teatro, que hacen evidentes y hacen entender al espectador que los roles han cambiado, y es que en teatro hay muchas más posibilidades que en el cine en este aspecto, es de cierto modo más libre.

En la obra se pronuncian diferentes nombres de mujeres aun desaparecidas, esto nos sumerge más en la temática, porque tenemos nombres reales, nombres de mujeres como nuestra madre, hermanas, primas, hijas, victimas, que justo ahora son el dolor de un familia que sigue buscando o que mantienen la esperanza de que aparezcan con vida, y si no lo están que aparezcan sus cuerpos para dar cierre a esa dolorosa espera, que debe ser sumamente agobiante.

Me gustó mucho la atmósfera creada con la utilización de algunos recursos, como el agua que cae continuamente desde el techo, el sonido del agua cayendo sobre un paraguas bajo una tenue luz, la humedad y la sangre en el suelo. Me pareció increíble como con tan pocos recursos se logra tanto.

La música utilizada estuvo perfectamente acoplada a las escenas, era capaz de movernos sobre todo entre las emociones de tristeza, tragedia, desamparo, me pareció un gran trabajo de musicalización. Y por supuesto el trabajo de iluminación, muy bien ejecutado por el director técnico Raúl Casanova, junto a unas imágenes proyectadas en la pared, entre ellas “Antígona” de Marie Spartali, que complementaban visual y artísticamente los diferentes segmentos de la Obra.

El principio y el fin de la obra están conectados, la chica amarrada al principio de la obra, es la chica a quien su hermana despide al final de la obra, algo logrado con la utilización de un simple recurso como lo es una moneda, y es una demostración de cómo la vida puede cambiar en unos minutos, nunca sabes cuándo es la última vez que vas a ver a alguien.

San Cristóbal está muy cerca de la frontera con Colombia, una frontera con una gran problemática en donde han desaparecido muchas mujeres Venezolanas, o por donde son secuestradas como víctimas de trata de blancas, no está lejos, hay que prestar atención, informarse y saber qué tipo de riesgos se pueden exponer muchas mujeres.

A mí me encantó esta obra y para mí como estudiante de teatro fue una gran experiencia el hecho de poder hablar con el director, con las actrices acerca de lo que sucedía internamente también te da otra perspectiva más allá de ser un simple espectador.

In my opinion the actresses performed impeccably, the first scene is shocking, and immerses us in a tragic situation, where a woman finds one of these missing girls, while trying to revive her, the discomfort of feeling observed by those who have done this to her, they are everywhere, something evident in the fearful looks and the hurry of the actress while she frees the victim.

Something that caught my special attention, was the ability of the actresses to enter and leave the emotions suddenly, go from a cry to a laugh in a natural way, and this seemed to me one of the points to highlight throughout the play, because there are constant changes in the speech, in one scene they are victims, in another they are narrators, or women with a normal life, women looking for one of their relatives, even in some scenes they step out of their roles to show themselves as Alexandria Valencia and Michelle Rodriguez, something I liked, because they show that what they are representing is nothing alien to them, that even outside their roles, as women they are part of the issue raised. To differentiate this change of scenes, it seemed to me a key factor to play with emotions, these changes of rhythm, so typical of the theater, which make evident and make the viewer understand that the roles have changed, and in theater there are many more possibilities than in film in this aspect, it is somehow freer.

In the play different names of women who are still missing are pronounced, this immerses us more in the theme, because we have real names, names of women like our mother, sisters, cousins, daughters, victims, who right now are the pain of a family that is still searching or who maintain the hope that they appear alive, and if they are not, that their bodies appear to close that painful wait, which must be extremely overwhelming.

I really liked the atmosphere created with the use of some resources, such as the water falling continuously from the ceiling, the sound of water falling on an umbrella under a dim light, the humidity and the blood on the floor. I found it incredible how with so few resources so much is achieved.

The music used was perfectly coupled to the scenes, it was able to move us especially between the emotions of sadness, tragedy, helplessness, I thought it was a great job of musicalization. And of course the lighting work, very well executed by the technical director Raul Casanova, along with some images projected on the wall, including "Antigone" by Marie Spartali, which visually and artistically complemented the different segments of the play.

The beginning and the end of the play are connected, the girl tied up at the beginning of the play, is the girl whose sister says goodbye at the end of the play, something achieved with the use of a simple resource such as a coin, and is a demonstration of how life can change in a few minutes, you never know when is the last time you are going to see someone.

San Cristobal is very close to the border with Colombia, a border with a big problem where many Venezuelan women have disappeared, or where they are kidnapped as victims of human trafficking, it is not far, you have to pay attention, be informed and know what kind of risks many women can be exposed.

I loved this play and for me as a theater student it was a great experience to be able to talk with the director, with the actresses about what was happening internally, it also gives you another perspective beyond being a simple spectator.
