The Polish Foreign Ministry first felicitates with the families of those that lost their lives during the German invasion of Poland in 1939, that subsequently led to World War II. With the devastating effects of World War II and the collateral damages caused by the invasion on Poland and other European countries, the Polish government is calling for peaceful negotiation between the two parties.
Poland calls for a complete cessation of the war during the ceasefire period and encourages Russia and Ukraine to adhere to peaceful negotiations to safeguard the lives of citizens. Since Russia is the one that has been on the offensive side, the Polish government has requested that Russia obeys the armistice during the period of ceasefire through negation talks.
The Polish Foreign Minister insist that Poland is free to accommodate refugees from the war prone areas into her county.
