    About :

Things have escalated in eastern Europe in the last 24 hours. Putin has announced to the leaders of France and Germany that he will be recongnizing the sovereignty of the Donbass regions of eastern Ukraine.

The leaders of the regions of Donetsk and Lugansk have asked Putin to declare them sovereign, as fighting has popped off in these regions against the Kiev government. Previously, back in 2014, the people of these regions voted on internal referendums to join Russia, overwhelming voting "Yes". Putin did not accept the regions into Russia at the time.

This may be an negotiating tool for Putin, as a "summit" between Putin and Biden is be set up.

The narratives around Ukraine continue to amaze, in the face of on the ground reporting & continued refusal by Western media or governments to provide evidence of any kind for "immient Russian invasion".
