Crypto Regulation spells trouble for Splinterlands?

In the end, I feel the issue of crypto regulation is a significant concern, but which in the end is part of why crypto is an exciting space today. If crypto was fully regulated, and a common investment, then the volatility would be less, but so too would the opportunity.

Volatility is not a bad word.

The life changing potential of cryptocurrency broadly, and Splinterlands specifically, is a facet of it's volatility. When everyone plays blockchain based video games, the price appreciation will be largely behind us. Just as when Bitcoin is held by 9/10 people, its maximum price increases will be behind us. Regulation will bring more, risk-averse, people into this space, but I don't want to wait till then, because I believe the opportunity is here now, before those masses join me.
