Hive Open Mic Week 118 - Tak Mungkin (Acoustic Cover)

Hello brothers and sisters, welcome back with us, Indonesia Bersatu. A punk rock band from Medan, North Sumatra, Indonesia. Today we have entered week 118 of the weekly #openmic event. Btw, last week we couldn't attend the 117th week because all the members of this band were busy with work. But in this week of 118, we can attend but only the two of us. This week, we have the theme song “Love Hurts” chosen by our friend @khaleesii.

This is a difficult theme for us to create our songs because usually, we will create a Punk Rock atmosphere in each theme. But the theme this time made us give up on composing songs. In the end, we chose to do a cover of the song entitled “Tak Mungkin”, in English “No Way”. Created by a band called "D'Lloyd". This is a legendary song that is quite popular in Indonesia. This song was released in 1970. We weren't even born then. It is said that D'Lloyd has many fans not only in Indonesia but also in Malaysia and Singapore. Their songs are still often heard today because they have been re-arranged by today's bands.
