Hello, all my friends in the Pukumundo community. We are a band that plays punk rock music, from Medan, Indonesia. Today we would like to introduce one of our original works entitled “Political Bastard” which we just made yesterday. This song doesn't play Punk Rock music. Sounds like D-beat Punk music, or Hardcore Punk. I don't know, I also don't understand the genre of music. But for sure, this song is an expression of anger towards politics which is getting more and more annoying by the day (I'm talking about the political situation in my country).

I don't know the political situation in foreign countries, but here in Indonesia, politics is a dirty thing. Full of lies and hypocrisy in politics, party, organization, government, to the state apparatus. Politics in Indonesia is not running properly. People in government never fix a situation, they are only selfish. This has been happening for a long time. We remember that in 2019, politics succeeded in dividing the people and creating two opposing camps. Friendships become strained due to differences in political views, families become inharmonious due to differences in political views, and even corpses are not taken care of because during their lifetime they have different political views.

This is so crazy. The worst part of the political situation in Indonesia is taking advantage of the majority religion and seeking support for ruling in the political world. These hypocrites cooperate with religious leaders to fool and deceive religious people. This is a form of our anger towards politics which is always littered with greedy and power-hungry people. Therefore, we play this song with an unclear shout to fight the politics in our country. The lyrics of this song are very simple;

The lyrics are very short but get to the point. We recorded this video in a music studio that we rented during band practice, using a Canon brand mirrorless camera. Slightly edited on a laptop using the pirated Adobe Premiere Pro CC program. That's all I can tell readers in the HIVE community. I don't know if this writing and song are so useful? But I hope, it will be useful. Btw, our band consists of four members, but today a drummer couldn't attend. So, our vocalist fills in on the drums, and our guitarist fills in the vocals.
