Hello brothers and sisters, We are IndonesiaBersatu, a Punk Rock band from the city of Medan, Indonesia. Today we weren't complete because the two personnel were busy, so we only played together. It doesn't matter even if it's incomplete, the important thing is that we can make a music video and share it on the weekly show #openmic which has entered its 146th week. So, the theme for this week is "La Unión" chosen by this week's spotlight artist @elioe. This is an interesting theme, so we chose a cover song entitled “Kartini Rembang Melawan”, which was written by Marginal, a punk band from Jakarta.
This song is a dedication and support for farmer groups, especially women who oppose the establishment of cement factories and mines in the Kendeng mountains. The women farmers united and fought to reject the mining and cement factories in their area. Their reason for rejecting factories and mining in their village area is because it will cause damage to nature and contaminate the waters of their rice fields in the Kendeng mountain village.
Farmer groups, students and the climbing community have protested and held demonstrations, but the cement factories and mines are still operating. Even though, this case has reached court and the factory owner has lost. But they continue to operate and continue to destroy the natural ecosystem and the environment of the Kendeng mountains. This is what has made female farmers unite to demand justice and to take action in front of the Jakarta government building.
Residents of Kendeng will continue to voice their opposition to mining in the Kendeng mountain area. In addition, residents in the Kendeng mountains always campaign for environmental preservation. Reflecting on the many disasters lately. The government should be able to understand the struggle of the Kendeng residents. This is a struggle how to keep the air cool. The government must realize that the environmental damage is so great.
Kendeng residents demand the president's promise to be loyal to the mandate to protect farmers from extractive industry threats. The Protestants, who are mostly farmers and women, reject cement factories and mines as part of the farmers' obligation to continue to maintain the balance of nature. So that the North Kendeng Mountains continue to provide a livelihood. The Kendeng Mountains have been a food barn since human civilization started farming, and started consuming rice, corn, cassava, and others.
Lalalala lalalala lawan dan menang
Manusia dan alam tak bisa dipisahkan
Soko guru kehidapan jangan dihancurkan
Alu lesung bertalu pertanda perjuangan
Ibu kita di rembang pasti menang
Kartini-kartini rembang melawan
Penghancur perusak alam
Tolak, tolak PT Semen sialan
Bangun kedaulatan pangan
Tolak pt semen di rembang!!!
Thank you for watching and listening to our cover songs. I hope you all like the music and the message contained in this song. The place where we recorded this video is at my house which is on Jl.
