Hello brothers and sisters, We are Indonesia Bersatu, a Punk Rock band from the city of Medan, Indonesia. After three weeks of not being present at the #Openmic weekly event, now we are back to entertain you and also share the music videos that we play on the Hive Open Mic community which has entered its 144th week. So, this week's theme is "Melodic Dose" chosen by this week's spotlight artist @lyon-89. We didn't understand what Melodic Dose meant, So we chose a song randomly and finally, the song that was chosen to be performed for this week was “Damai Bersamamu” in English “Peace be with you” by Chrisye.

We don't know whether the song we performed today fits the theme or not, but I hope it does. Ha ha. The song, entitled Damai Bersamamu, was written and sung by Chrisye, a legendary singer and musician from Indonesia. This song was released in 1996 on the album Akustichrisye. Even though our band is in the Punk Rock genre, we also like songs outside the punk genre, one of which is this song. in the lyrics of this song, we conclude that a person will be able to be calm and peaceful if he always remembers God. Therefore, we all must continue to remember God to avoid sinful acts.

The songs written by Chrisye can be said to touch the side of spiritualism. The lyrics in the song can touch the listener's heart. We love this song because there is love that is open to all beings in it. From this song, the writer gives a message to all of us that it is time for us to return to the essentials. What we have to remember and realize is that everything is a gift from the creator. Therefore, it must be loved and cared for. Only in this way can humans return to the one who created them, and be able to save their lives from disaster.
