Kizomba has been my favorite ever since learning the Afro-Latin dances last year. What I like about this dance is the connection you make with yourself and your dance partner. The creativity and the flow of dance steps you make together.
During the first few classes when I started learning Kizomba, it was a struggle! It was so hard connecting with the other gender and being relaxed after all I've gone through with men in the past. Anyways, here I am very confident and in my power when dancing. I honestly couldn't stop saying how much I love dancing now.
In this video, you will see me dancing with one of the amazing Zouk Teachers here in the Philippines named Rohit whom I just met during the Boracay Latin Dance Vacation event last weekend. Yep, that's the reason why I was away for a couple of days. We went to Boracay, attended a fun-filled Afro-Latin event, met other talented dancers from all over the country, and danced our hearts out for the past 3 days during our stay there. Oh! I should mention the fun after-parties we had at some of the bars in Boracay. 😝
Writing about the place and the event will be in another blog because for now I am too kilig or excited to share this dance video we shot on the beautiful white sand of Boracay Island. Good thing, I made the call to shoot this dance video with him together with another dance teacher. Yes, more videos coming soon.
