Freedive Malapascua | Exploring the Japanese Shipwreck!

Sorry for taking it long to create another freediving video! Well, pretty much took some time off and rest. My body has been adapting to the constant massive energy shifts happening for the past months even up to now. Anyways, finally I was able to free up some time to do one video, and it's the creative process that I get to enjoy doing!

In this video, I'm taking you to the famous Japanese Shipwreck on Malapascua Island. If you have read my previous post related to this, we were unable to freedive during our first visit because the waters were murky! I got a little bit disappointed with that and thus I insisted on coming back. Glad we just did that on our second day of Freediving. We were blessed with clear skies and sunny weather. Since it was our first dive spot during that day and we went here at 7:00 am, the condition of the water was perfect! It was calm and clear.

The Japanese Shipwreck in Malapascua is located just a few meters away from the island's lighthouse! History says it was a Japanese landing craft bombed during World War II. Its hull is preserved and runs wide and long. Not sure about the measurements but underwater it was huge. The water was also shallow so it was a bit easy for us to explore. Inspecting the boat parts real close shows that mostly is already covered with corals and plants, sea creatures have already made it their home too.
