Celebrating Full Moon in March with a Bunch of Amazing Women!

Fatigue came to me for the past few days and so I have just been listening to my body and just resting. However, it would be a shame not to share the reason for this. Last March 18-20, 2022, I attended my first "Women's Full Moon Gathering" here in Cebu, Philippines! A camping weekend filled with "sisterhood, workshops, pop-ups, food, yoga, music, and more!". And it was an amazing, beautiful experience I want to share here in Hive.

Since the pandemic has us all spending most of our time alone and at home, I did a lot of self-introspection and it was enlightening to my soul. However, 2 years is way too long and somehow for the past months, I have been asking the universe to lead me to my soul tribe. I always knew my soul sisters were waiting for me out there too. And so without any expectations and reservations, I handed this longing to the universe to work its magic on this desire.

And just when I knew it, last week of February, I saw on IG from one of my favorite local online store @irriehippie.ph's post of the event "Women's Full Moon Gathering", I didn't hesitate and just registered without literally knowing anyone! Yep, that is how desperate excited, and trusting I was to the universe! Of course, when opportunities present themselves, one must ultimately make the most out of them.

This event was hosted by @tapokta_womengathering and was held at the host's place called "The Natural Habitat". A place surrounded by mountains and a river. The video will show you how relaxing and serene the environment was. The weather forecast was thunderstorms but instead, we were blessed with clear skies all week long! The program was filled with a lot of activities and workshops namely Macrame and Crochet! Guess which one I learned? We also had yoga, a full moon ceremony and mediation, and a sacred cacao ceremony. I should also mention the river bath, free market, and tarot reading session!

Day 1 came and right before I left the house for this gathering, all I said to the Divine was... "I am open to meeting beautiful souls, that I am ready to make meaningful connections, that I am ready to share my love and divinity to the ones I come across on this journey." And so it was.

And as I mentioned, I didn't know anyone and so I was so happy when MJ greeted me with a big smile and Gloriey had a conversation with me inside the van as we were headed to the campsite. Once we got there, we pitched our tents, then hung out and got to know the rest of the ladies. We had dinner then did our Full Moon ceremony where we released the things we were ready to let go of. We ended our session with a Twin Hearts Meditation where we sent healing energy to Mother Earth.

The first day was a great start! The beautiful energy coming from the women was overflowing! It's a different vibe and memorable experience I will always treasure.
