IAAC Day 78 | Time to Learn New Skills

Oh my gee!! It's finally Friday!! Weeee... but I can't rest yet, as I still have one more day left at work. The fixing continues at the office. Today I led the putting together of the modular office furniture. Too bad these have been moved more than a few times. They were not exactly looking good, as quite a few parts are already missing. We had to make do. It's a good thing I kinda like DIYs at home. It was a breeze with three people working together to set them up. There's a lot more to organize, but then tomorrow is another day. Without a phone and Internet connection, the office wouldn't be fully functional. However, my boss works from the comfort of her home, so they continue on together with my other colleague who also works from home. I get time off the computer. Boohoo! In a way, it's okay, but also not okay, as that's my job, not the moving in, out, and what have you. The thing with small companies is, you're expected to do all kinds of job, as required. Boohoo.

Well, I'm learning a new skill -- gardening. I haven't paid much attention to it really. Honestly, now that I've been through a lockdown, I have become more aware of what I wanted to do for me, myself, and I. LOL! It's some form of awakening. If I could spend time working at the office, I could also spend time in improving my life and my lifestyle. That, after all, is more important. For me, it's a form of freedom. I hope that soon that would also apply to my financial life.

Nowadays, it's tough to seek medical attention. Yup! A regular maintenance check up would mean additional paid up costs that wouldn't be covered by a company medical card. Boohoo. That's the case with my daughter, so she will be foregoing an ultrasound and medical check up. I'm displeased with the continuing covid issue in the country. I see no point in extending the lockdown every fifteen days if government isn't even doing anything about it. Backlogs in testing remain. Plus "according to the health department," the number of cases are still increasing. I think we have breached over 50K. But who cares?!?! I'm beginning to think it's all a lot of BS!!! A way to control the public more.. tsk!

It's a Friday!!! Another day then I could enjoy some form of freedom!!! Have a great weekend! I'll see you for tomorrow's video. Ta-tah!
