IAmAliveChallenge | I Am Alive - Day Twenty-Four

On the video yesterday (Day 23), I mentioned that we were looking for Twilight. He went missing during the night of the storm last Friday. By Saturday night, we heard a kitty crying loudly by the building at the back of ours. There's a fire exit that you could cross that is adjacent to our building, but we had to go down to the third floor to do that. The one on the fourth was boarded up as there were our Chinese neighbors who would complain a lot about our cats. So my daughter went to investigate and saw a tiny cat that looked like Twilight, but it was dark. There was also a feral mommy cat that hissed at her. She sought my help and we both went with flashlights from our mobile phones hanging on our necks. Plus we donned on some work gloves too. To cut the long story short, we were successful in rescuing Twilight once more and bringing her home. The poor thing was too hungry.

Today we tried to check the CCTV of the building. We wanted to see if we would be able to see whoever hurt Playful and possibly, also threw away Twilight to the back building. Unfortunately, the third floor CCTV was busted. Too suspicious if you ask me too. Tsk. But we did let the building janitor and the guard know about our concern. I believe they should be more aware of what's happening in the building.

We're just glad to have found Twilight alive and well. We put a collar on him and Midnight now. I wanted to wait until they are bigger, but then I do not want a repeat of the incident. Playful was wearing a yellow collar, yet she was hurt by someone very cruel. We do not know what really happened, but I hope it won't be repeated. We will try and be more vigilant.

Also, Internet connection trouble as our local telco has yet to honor its statement on the deferred payment of bills during this lockdown. We had to find an alternative. Good thing we still have the mobile wifi we used to bring during our local travel. Had to use that to connect for now.
