IAAC Day 47 | What Chooseday Means to Me

It's another Chooseday (pun intended). I'm thankful that at least once a week, I'm reminded of my power of choice. Being able to choose is empowering. It gives me power on how I want to feel and how I want to react to certain situations. A lot of things are beyond our control. If we keep letting them dictate how we feel, then we will always be at the mercy of outside influence. One of my favorite authors, Stephen Covey, wrote on

between a stimulus and a response is always a choice.

I have taken this to heart and have been learning and practising on how to live this mindset. Of course, I'm only human and at times, I do get pissed. But it would pass, and rational thought would set in.

Meet my little furry friend who wanted to play. I was recording the video, so I guess the little one got a bit disappointed. LOL! I'm also getting lots of passers -by during the video shoot. It was pretty awkward to be honest. Harhar.

Well, it's another day. Choose to be thankful. I'm thankful for the bit of rain in the late afternoon. Yey! Now it feels cooler in our flat.
