On this second day of June, I share a bit of life at work and life in general. Now I need to work on balancing both and giving importance to stuff that really matter. I could say that life in lockdown somehow put some things in perspective for me.
Having a fantastic view at the workplace is a good motivation to go to work. LOL! At least, it holds true for me. Locally, at least in the area that I get around, it would appear that some folks deemed going back to work and striving are more important than being scared of the virus. So, more or less, there would appear to be some sort of normalcy wherever I go. Life happens, I suppose.
So far, I get more steps daily, as tracked by a built-in app on my mobile. Amazing how handy smartphones can be! It's pretty creepy though that my every move could be tracked. LOL! Well, more walking exercise is definitely a plus with my back-to-work mode.
And life in general involves meal planning almost nightly. Some nights Mom could take over the cooking, if it's pretty simple. Leave the experimental dishes for me. Teehee. I strive to make sure my daughter enjoys her meals. Leftovers, she brings to lunch the following day, so it better be good. Fish fillet in tamarind broth is best cooked with lots of veggies.
