Hello there, I want to specially welcome you to my blog. This is my entry for the 50th week of the afri-tunes weekly contest and I'm so happy to be privileged to be a Part of those dropping their entry for this week. Today I presented the cover of a song by Fireboy featuring Asake titled BANDANA. The song was a little bit difficult to learn because I'm not a Yoruba person like @obaro and @sholex even @quduus1 🤧. Funny enough I've been having some lessons from @quduus1 but that was a long time ago, hehe.
The song is a positive vibe song, by now I know you already know I love songs that has so much vibes and that's why I didn't really think twice before choosing to present this song for this week. I've been planning to do this song for a while now but I was discouraged because of the Yoruba language that was used but then I had to take more time to learn as much as I could because I love the language and this was the result, still poor 🙂.
My video was a bit of a struggle because of some challenges I faced while trying to record it. I live close to the roadside so the noise from vehicles and motorcycles passing by was a big setback so I had to record my video and voice separately and I didn't really like how it was sounding but I also didn't want to miss my entry for this week, I don't enjoy the fact that I do sometimes. The funny part was that when I finally get a quiet environment, the person I live with will be around and mostly disturb me with her sewing machine, lolz and I can't tell her not to disturb my video, it might make her feel I'm trying to tell her what to do in her own house 🙃.
Well, I'm so happy I could improvise and I hope you enjoy or enjoyed it as you listen to it. As for the lyrics of the song, you can find it by clicking on this link AZLYRIC FIREBOY FT. ASAKE BANDANA LYRICS. Do well to leave your comments and critics if any, they are all welcome as they will help me to know where to improve more in and also where I need to blush 😜☺️.
