Desde el atril - versión "Los Miserables" [ENG-ESP]

As I have told you in past opportunities, I was selected by audition to be part of the orchestra of the musical "Les Miserables" to be held at the Teatro Teresa Carreño in Caracas -Venezuela. The premiere will be on March 30. It has stipulated 10 performances, under contract; so far 6 performances are open, with tickets ranging from 40$ to 160$.

There are 8 days left for the premiere and this week we have entered the general rehearsals to assemble the orchestra with the voices in the scenographic process. In the video, you will see capsules of what was the sound check - rehearsal.

The orchestra will be in the pit of the Ríos Reyna hall, which is having a particularity, the depth of the pit is lower, compared to how it is normally used. It was a proposal made by the sound engineers sent by the company "Les Miserables" directly from London. Another particular fact is that the percussion instruments will be behind the stage (model used in the original version of the musical in England) and, they will be seeing everything through a screen.

Como les he comentado en pasadas oportunidades, fui seleccionado mediante audición para formar parte de la orquesta del musical "Los Miserables" que se realizará en el Teatro Teresa Carreño en Caracas -Venezuela. El estreno será el día 30 de marzo. Se tiene estipulada 10 funciones, bajo contrato; hasta el momento estan abiertas 6 funciones, con entradas que van desde 40$ a los 160$.

Quedan 8 dias para el estreno y esta semana hemos entrado en los ensayos generales para ensamblar a la orquesta con las voces en el proceso escenográfico. En el vídeo, observarán cápsulas de lo que fue la prueba de sonido - ensayo.

La orquesta estará en el foso de la sala Ríos Reyna, que está teniendo una particularidad, la profundidad del mismo está más abajo, comparado a como se usa normalmente. Fue una propuesta hecha por los ingenieros de sonido enviados por la compañía "Los miserables" directamente desde Londres. Otro dato particular es que los instrumentos de percusión estarán detras del escenario (modelo utilizado en la versión original del musical en Inglaterra) y, estarán viendo todo a través de una pantalla.
