¡Hola amigos de #Hive!, hoy quiero drenar sobre lo complicado que se ha hecho este camino musical pero, con esfuerzo, nos hemos sobrepuesto a las adversidades.

Hello friends of #Hive! Today I want to draw on how complicated this musical path has been but, with effort, we have overcome adversity.

El inicio de este sueño musical se remonta al año 2018, donde en plena crisis humanitaria en mi país, Venezuela. Un grupo de amigos, vimos como única vía de escape a este contexto país, el seguir haciendo música.

The beginning of this musical dream dates back to 2018, where in the middle of the humanitarian crisis in my country, Venezuela. A group of friends, we saw as the only escape route to this country context, to continue making music.

Como todo en la vida, los inicios siempre serán rudos, y en nosotros no fue la excepción.

Like everything in life, the beginnings will always be rough, and in us it was no exception.

Comenzamos ensayando cuasi de manera clandestina, en el conservatorio de música Simón Bolívar en Caracas, Venezuela, en uno de sus salones después de terminar nuestras actividades formales.

We began rehearsing almost clandestinely, at the Simón Bolívar music conservatory in Caracas, Venezuela, in one of their rooms after finishing our formal activities.

¿Por qué de esa manera? / Because that way?

Porque de esa manera era la única manera de poder ensayar con buenos instrumentos, que se encontraban en la institución, ya que por nuestros propios medios, no contábamos con el backline necesario.

Because that way it was the only way to be able to rehearse with good instruments, which were in the institution, since by our own means, we did not have the necessary backline.

La situación en la que estábamos llevando los ensayos ya no era sostenible: una institución que no nos apoyaba, de manera clandestina y con instrumentos prestados, era señal de que debíamos cambiar.

The situation in which we were conducting the trials was no longer sustainable: an institution that did not support us, clandestinely and with borrowed instruments, was a sign that we should change.

Everything leads us to find another place to rehearse ... surprisingly, the leader of the band receives a call from a former director of the conservatory, where he asks him to be part of a movement of popular groups. From there, moderately, our rehearsals improved, even with borrowed instruments but with the confidence to rehearse without any setback.

El 2020 se proyectó como un año para realizar grandes cosas pero, nada fue como lo proyectamos... ¡Surgió la pandemia!

2020 was projected as a year to do great things but, nothing was as we projected it ... the pandemic emerged!

En pleno confinamiento los fantasmas aparecieron, los temores, la frustraciones, el sentimiento de derrota, en fin, no estábamos bien. Pues, nos tocó replantear por tercera vez un nuevo comienzo, para no dejar morir a la banda en plena pandemia. Grabamos videos de algunos de nuestros temas musicales y así pudimos tener el #aliento de propios y extraños.

In full confinement the ghosts appeared, the fears, the frustrations, the feeling of defeat, well, we were not well. Well, we had to rethink a new beginning for the third time, so as not to let the band die in the middle of a pandemic. We recorded videos of some of our musical themes and so we could have the #breath of locals and strangers.

NO DESISTIMOS Y APOSTAMOS A NOSOTROS. / WE DON'T GIVE UP AND BET ON US.

Gracias al esfuerzo, logramos llegar a grabar nuestro primer tema promocional "Ensueño" con video musical incluido. Una productora que reconoció el esfuerzo y nuestro talento, quiso apoyarnos con toda la logística para materializar ese sueño.

Thanks to the effort, we managed to record our first promotional song "Ensueño" with a music video included. A production company that recognized the effort and our talent, wanted to support us with all the logistics to materialize that dream.

A pesar de todo, hemos seguido creyendo en el proyecto y en el talento que cada uno de nuestros músicos. Seguimos luchando para el despegue de nuestra banda, a pesar de lo económico y más en un país tan golpeado. Pero nosotros:
