Imagine what a disaster it would have been!
If all the oceans were "liquors" in the sea, imagine how many arguments/issues/quarrels would have been there,
If reality were all "dreams", imagine how many arguments/issues/quarrels would have been there,
Only God knows what is hidden in one's "heart"
If all the heart were a "unveil", imagine how many arguments/issues/quarrels would have been there,
It was our "silence" that kept the relationship going for years,
Imagine, if we had "answers" in our mouths too for all the questions, imagine how many arguments/issues/quarrels would have been there,
We were "good" all times but always were bad in the eyes of people,
Imagine if we were really bad; imagine how many arguments/issues/quarrels would have been there,
Imagine what a disaster it would have been!

सोचो कितने फसाद होते!
समंदर सारे "शराब" होते तो सोचो कितने फसाद होते,
हकीकत सारे "ख्वाब" होते तो सोचो कितने फसाद होते।
किसी के "दिल" में क्या छुपा है बस ये खुदा ही जानता हैं,
दिल अगर "बे नक़ाब" होते तो सोचो कितने फसाद होते।
थी "ख़ामोशी" फितरत हमारी तभी तो बरसों निभा गई,
अगर हमारे मुंह में भी "जवाब" होते तो,
सोचो कितने फसाद होते।
हम "अच्छे" थे पर लोगों की नज़र में सदा बुरे रहते हैं,
कहीं हम सच में खराब" होते तो सोचो कितने फसाद होते
सोचो कितने फसाद होते!
