Greetings to all the members of this beautiful @Vibes community, which allows you to live and enjoy beautiful moments through music. Today I came here for the first time to present my entry in Vibes Web 3 Music Competition Week 16, with a song by the Spanish group Formula V, following this week's initiative.
This song makes me travel to the past with a load of beautiful feelings and memories of my childhood with my parents and my younger brother, who are no longer with me. At that time there was a musical radio program called Nocturno, which was broadcast on the Radio Progreso station at 8:30 pm every day. In my house it was heard every night without fail, it was very popular at that time due to the quality of the music that was played that connected us with many of the artists of the so-called prodigious decade. I remember that the musical theme with which it began was titled “Ser lo quewait” by Los Dan and ended with “Tus Ojos” by Juan and Junior, 2 beautiful musical themes that defined, respectively, the joy of the beginning and end of the musical journey in that we embarked every night with the help of Nocturno and Pastor Felipe, who was their announcer.
One of the most widespread and popular groups for the audience in our country was “Formula V”, which was a Madrid pop group formed in 1967, initially by Paco Pastor (vocals), Antonio Sevilla (drums), Mariano Sanz ( bass), José Villar «Chefo» (guitar) and Joaquín de la Peña «Quino» (guitar). In 1968, Chefo left the group, being replaced by Amador Flores "Chapete" (keyboards). It was there where I heard them for the first time, my mother really enjoyed when she listened to them, I think I directly inherited my passion for music from her, although I am not a musician, the music generated in her a contagious joy, it was as if at that moment when she listened to her, all the problems disappeared and her way of enjoying it made her the happiest woman in the world no matter what, it was wonderful to see her like that and it is wonderful now to remember her that way. Those were very beautiful times, childhood is beautiful as it is full of positive energy and future dreams, especially when it takes place in the peace of home, surrounded by the love that your family gives you. “Cuéntame” was one of the first songs that I remember hearing and that was recorded in me in a particular way, in addition, I think it is the only one that right now I dare to sing for you in the best way I can and beyond Being part of the competition, which makes me very excited, is a nice way to be able to relive through its interpretation, the beautiful moments that it makes me remember since they say that remembering is living again. So I hope you like it, good luck to the rest of the contestants. Have a nice day.
