I love this song. It's Not Like The Other Girls by The Rasmus, from the album Dead Letters (2003).
The Rasmus are famous worldwide for the hit In The Shadows but very few people know the rest of this album, that I consider to be a little diamond in the contemporary rock scene. A dark aesthetic, almost gothic metal sound, combined with clear voice and catchy melodies made the success of this album in that time.
I'll be talking about that in my next Rock on Wednesday in the #music community so stay tuned (and maybe follow me so you don't lose it in the air).
For now, enjoy one of the peak moments of this record, the guitar solo from this beautiful song. Nothing too technical, but really full of emotions and pathos. Gives me goosebumps everytime I listen to it. I hope it's the same for you.
