My Mirror is inspired by Twin Tribes, a new goth rock duo from Texas that make really beautiful dark romantic music. I wanted to recreate their style and pay tribute to their influence in my recent music taste.
This song is a prequel to Lucretia My Reflection. It's true that that's a cover but I figured it fits well into Harbiter's story. It's a chapter where he finds a person that is just like him, someone to rely on and have support from.
The two tracks are connected, in fact if you listen to them one after the other they sound like a single track.
