Hola un saludo para todos en el HMF. Ya aquí en la ronda #3 y quería seguir haciendo cosas diferentes a los covers instruméntales.

Hoy estaré cantando una canción de la banda inglesa Joy Division y uno de sus temas más conocidos "Love Will Tear Us Apart". Esta banda ha sido una influencia para muchos artistas sobre todo en el género del Post Punk, por sus líneas de bajo muy pronunciadas y las letras oscuras que Ian Curtis escribía.

Para mi proyecto también ha sido una gran influencia sobre todo en la formar de cantar de Ian y las baterías rápidas que solían acompañar. Siento que la voz de él me queda un poco mejor para mi estilo de cantar. Algunos saben que todavía soy algo tímido para cantar ciertas canciones, pero como todo es practica y mi idea es poder mejorar ciertos aspectos de mi voz y la manera de cantar.

La versión que hice es un poco más lenta que la original ya que solo es piano y voz. Quería darle un toque más personal para la ocasión pero aún así se notara la influencia que tiene Ian Curtis en mi voz. Tuve un par de errores al cantar la letra pero espero no se noten mucho.

Hello, greetings to everyone at HMF. Already here in round #3 and I wanted to continue doing things other than instrumental covers.

Today I will be singing a song by the English band Joy Division and one of their best known songs "Love Will Tear Us Apart". This band has been an influence for many artists, especially in the Post Punk genre, due to its very pronounced bass lines and the dark lyrics that Ian Curtis wrote.

For my project it has also been a great influence, especially in the way Ian sings and the fast drums they used to accompany. I feel that his voice suits me a little better for my style of singing. Some know that I'm still a bit shy to sing certain songs, but as everything is practice and my idea is to be able to improve certain aspects of my voice and the way I sing.

The version I made is a bit slower than the original since it's just piano and voice. I wanted to give it a more personal touch for the occasion but still the influence that Ian Curtis has on my voice was noticeable. I had a couple of mistakes when singing the lyrics but I hope they won't be too noticeable.
