Hive Open Mic week 109 - Agosto (Original Piano Song) | @hanselmusic [En/Es]

¡Hola Open Mic! La semana tiene un tema que me recuerda y seguro que a muchos cuando salían de pequeños a volar cometa, elevarla lo más que se podía. Seguro los que son padres lo siguen haciendo con sus hijos, es algo que no pasa de moda.

Creo que la última vez que yo volé cometa fue hace unos dos años más o menos. Es una sensación muy bonita y con amigos y familia es un excelente plan. De hecho aquí en Bogotá, se celebra el festival de verano en el mes de agosto, donde hace mucho viento y las cometas se elevan más fácil. Es algo muy tradicional en este mes, así que verán a la gente en los parques con muchas cometas.

La chispa de la inspiración llegó un poco tarde, pero llegó. Practicando algunos arpegios y ejercicios, salió esta pieza de sonido muy minimalista, ese piano que uno escucha para leer o estudiar. Salió en dos días, a medias, porque no la pude practicar mucho, ando ocupado con otros ensayos. Pero aún así, siento que evoca a los niños corriendo para elevar la cometa, están felices, y es algo esperanzador.

Hace rato no escribía algo para piano, y creo que con más tiempo esta canción podría ser algo grande. Siempre pasa algo con los instrumentos y en mi caso mi piano no está funcionando de la mejor manera, ya está viejito jaja, toca ver si encuentro una solución porque hay algunas teclas que están haciendo mal su función.

Hello OpenMic! The week has a theme that reminds me and surely many when we went out as children to fly a kite, raise it as high as possible. Surely those who are parents continue to do it with their children, it is something that will remain for a long time.

I think the last time I flew a kite was about two years ago or so. It is a very nice feeling and with friends and family it is an excellent plan. In fact, here in Bogotá, the summer festival is celebrated in the month of August, where it is very windy and the kites fly with more ease. It is something very traditional in that month, so you will see people in the parks with many kites.

The spark of inspiration came a little late, but it did. Practicing some arpeggios and exercises, this piece came out with a very minimalist sound, the piano that one listens to when reading or studying. It came out in two days, halfway, because I couldn't practice it much, I'm busy with other rehearsals. But still, I feel that it evokes the children running to raise the kite, they are happy, and it is somewhat hopeful.

It's been a while since I wrote something for piano, and I think that with more time this song could be something big. Something always happens with the instruments and in my case my piano is not working in the best way, it's already old haha, it's time to see if I can find a solution because there are some keys that are doing their function wrong.
